What is wrong with this fact?

Relevant Magazine polled confessed Christian young adults, asking “If Jesus was alive, who would he vote for?” and 23 % said that if Jesus was alive that he would vote for Barak Obama.

Now, as a Christian, as a teacher, and as one on the leadership board of a house of prayer focused on the youth, I have a lot of problems with this on so many levels.

But I woun’t get to those until later.

Dreams…

Morning of March 1st 2008…
What appears to be a news report begins, it opens on a stand up view
of a soldier; possibly of Persian or Pakistani descent. He is holding
a large assault rifle with 6 rifle barrels in a large spread, not
closely set as a mini gun. This man is set representing a specific
group. He is standing in the midst of a dry and weary land.

The Narrator: “Anarchists rule seemed to be summed up in this one
image of this young BOY.”

The boy sinking into thick mire, dark brown whips of thick clay making
up the pit. The boy is afraid, and dying. And I don’t understand why
they do not just reach out and grab him. But I can not reach out, as
I can not say a word. I can’t help him. He is gone now and I think of
how the boy looked like Isaiah if Isaiah was 6 or so. I am sickened
and began to attempt analyzing what everything could mean.

Anarchists rule: “why do the nations rage?” Psalm 2. The people of the
earth are anarchists, Antichrists, lawless ones casting off the
government of the LORD God and His anointed. Furthermore the rifles
with 6 barrels, the number of man, and a gun, exertion of human
strength and dominance, also of their insecurity in their own safety
to wield such a large and over the top weapon to compensate.

A fathers heart breaks as he is unable to do anything of his own
strength to save his child. To bring him to an understanding that
there is something bigger going on.

Any thoughts?
Visions…

February 6th 2008…
On Wednesday evening I was praying before I went to sleep. Then I was
brought by the Spirit into a vision. As a deep emotion filled velvet
darkness surrounded me, the LORD brought a large grey tablet before
me. Upon that tablet on letters of fire He began to write “Where is
the Church of 2008″ with no question mark. I was confused and
questioning this because I had thought that the Church was doing so
well and actually starting to move forward, thinking of 2007. In the
midst of this thought the LORD said “That was then, this is now.”

Then another grey tablet was set before me, and with letters of fire
the LORD wrote “FAST AS INTERCESSION”. That is when it ended.

I have been praying about the interpretation and for the Spirit to
give me understanding. So far I have began to understand that 8 being
the number of new beginnings, and 2008 being the year of the new
beginning of a new president, the Church I’d falling short of Her
responsibility to apply Herself in governmental authority and
intercession. The LORD is looking for Her to take a stand so that He
may show Himself strong on Her behalf. That takes us to set ourselves
in humility to fast and cry put unto the LORD, Joel 2.

To decorate or not to decorate?

I’m looking around my empty room, painfully obvious with its lack of anything personal. Realizing that I have not decorated my home in 10 years (Where I lay my head is home). I’ve strayed from ever personalizing due to the fact that I have not had a place to myself for longer than 6 months. Now I’m wondering if I should just let myself.

Well, after months and months of X Rays, MRI’s, and plenty of bloodwork I still don’t have any answers. In 2007 I was involved in 2 car accidents and nasty fall; whiplash on top of whiplash on top of whiplash as well as all the displaced vertabrate and pinched nerves that comes with it.

In the course of a MRI to check if there were any herniated discs they found something else. A small section of demaylanation. This has lead to test after test trying to find out which disease I have specificly. As my neurologist says “We have the answer, now we need the question.”

Now to combat all the pain, nerve damage, and at times unbearable stress I am on more meds than I ever thought I would be. And with it I feel my mind going. At times I’m completely happy and optimistic, and others it is a dark burden that seems to totally envelop me. Suddeen attacks of panic and sweat, nauseating muscle spasms, and at the inability to hold my son. That is the worst of it all. The loss of time with my baby boy haunts my evenings.

Now it appears that will be able to start writing again. I will try not to rant against Obama and his ability to deceive the Church. But definitely a will share some dreams and visions I’ve had. Talk to you soon.

Isaiah Matthew Allen Knisely

On Wednesday October 31st 2007 at 11:54 AM my son Isaiah was born. He was 6 lbs. 14 oz. and 20.5 inches in length. My wife Teressa did amazingly, and continues to amaze me everyday as she settles into her role as “mom”.

A seasons’ question waiting to be answered…

During the time of many upon many interviews with several Starbucks stores I spent my time studying the Word, praying, a little prayer room time, conferences, and the ever so wonderful cleaning. In the midst of all these going ons my back really began acting up again. Muscle spasms, displaced vertebrate, and spine compression that turned my 5 foot 11 inch frame into 5 foot 8 1/2 inches. A little painful to say the least. Before I had realized it we had been in Kansas City for 3 weeks and I had not yet found a job. Finally each Starbucks store began to get back to me, each one of them had found someone more qualified. Which I can understand, things like that happen, I can accept that. Maybe it was not what the LORD had for me. I have prayed before many a job interview over the years, asking for God’s guidance and protection, for it was not what He had for me, that it wouldn’t be. I’ve always said, it’s God’s protection, not man’s rejection. A clever little saying my mom taught me back in my youth.

The problems though continued to grow. My became more and more stressed at her job, it was so different than what she had been used to that she was having a difficult time adjusting. Not only to her job, but being so far away from her family. The fact that I was still unable to find work led her to put more pressure on herself. For it happened several more times I would would go in for a 2nd and 3rd interview for a job, and still not get the job. At this point I too began to become very concerned.

Little did we know, are problems were really just beginning.

A season of Faith, a season of Awakening, a season of Questions…

These past 3 months, and the 3 months before them have been a very trying season for my wife and I. Beginning back in February with a car accident, whiplash, and 4 weeks of rest and physical therapy. March in itself was a good month, the weather began to warm, Spring was on, I was back to work, and my wife informed me that she was pregnant. March also marked the beginning of Bound 4 LIFE Twin Cities, a prayer and mobilization ministry contending through fasting and intercession for the ending of abortion in our nation. I am blessed to be a member of that leadership. A good fight, that is well to my soul, a place of purpose.

For itself March was a good month, one I will remember for years to come. April was in itself promising, I was excited that my wife was pregnant, and the fact that we were moving to Kansas City in May. We were moving to Kansas City to become part of the community at the International House of Prayer. I was planning on going on staff and taking classes at the Forerunner School of Mininstry. A decision in itself that had been a long time coming. Two years of prayer and desire, leading, and seeking for the place we are to be.

That was the first week of April, then nearly 2 months to the hour of my first accident I was in a much more serious car accident. Resulting in similar injuries and lots and lots of rest. At this pint my ability to move, function, or otherwise participate in my normal life as I knew it was greatly taken from me. Yet, I stood fast. I am not one to give up, nor lie down so easily. I pushed myself, I kept going as best I could. My wife and I prepared for th move. Packing and taking the 7 hour drive back in forth from our home in Lakeville, Minnesota to Kansas City several times looking for apartments and jobs. The LORD’s favor was poured out and doors opened. My wife found a job practically without trying, and offered the job within 2 hours of turning in her resume. We found a 2 bedroom, 2 bath, 1200 square foot, absolutely more than we could have hoped for apartment. The apartment management was very kind and waved several of the leasing requirements and approved us for the apartment nearly immediately. Even with the logistics of moving, my in-laws all offered to help, even providing a large RV and trailer to drive down and help us move in. All that was really left was for myself to find a job.

This was, as I thought it was going to be, a simple enough task. At the time I was looking for a nice part-time job to help suppliment my wife and mine income so that I could be on staff at the International House of Prayer. Several, very promising opportunities arose with Starbucks, which included 3 stores interested in hiring me, even to the point of 2nd or 3rd interviews. I was confident that I would get a job with one of the Starbucks stores and be able to be responsible to my wife and unborn son in providing at least the full medical benefits that Starbucks gives their staff. I’ll continue tomorrow…

A question asked to Minnesotans…

In the midst of the tragedy that befell us in Minneapolis this lest week my heart has been continually stirred in intercession for Minnesota, and still asking questions, and seeking answers. The LORD has been merciful in the midst of His shaking, He has still shown Himself merciful over us, and yet I still ask my self, and the LORD, where is Minnesota’s response? I am not saying that in that no there has been no response, I ask in concerning to the Church in Minnesota, the Bride of Christ in the Twin Cities, where is theiir response, their willingness to stand in their place of inheritance, responsibility, and calling to cry out, and to stand in truth. I ask this question wondering who in Minnesota will stand tomorrow morning in the many pulpits and sanctuaries and answer the cries of the peoples hearts with compassion, meekness, authority, truth, and boldness?

Who, in Minnesota, from Minnesota, will arise and answer the call of God’s heart to stand with Him in truth in the midst of all the questions, and answer the people, to comfort the people, to intercede, and weep between the porch and the altar?

My heart’s cry this day is that there will be those, even now in Minnesota, weeping and calling unto God, trembling before Him, and seeking understanding before they would stand before His people and speak presumptuously. Will the Bride of Christ in the Twin Cities answer for Herself to the call of the LORD, answer the LORD’s cry to His people in repentance, to arise and put on strength, to stand and receive Her inheritance, Her place in unity and intimacy with Her Beloved King.

I pray that a Minnesotan will stand and speak truth, and it would not take the LORD sending someone from somewhere else to answer the questions.

The Catastrophe of the I-35W Bridge Collapse in Minneapolis…

As a citizen of Minnesota, a member of the Minnesota House of Prayer, and a person who loves the city of Minneapolis I am stirred with compassion and burdened in prayer for the families and friends of all involved in the collapse of the I-35W bridge collapse yesterday evening. Several others and I spent hours in intercession last night, crying out for God’s mercy in the midst of this shaking in the city of Minneapolis. Our hearts and prayers go out to friends and families involved in this catastrophe. I will be blogging more concerning this terrible tragedy over the next few days and even weeks.

I would like to leave you with for now is prayer requests for the people of Minneapolis and Minnesota…

First and foremost for God’s mercy to be poured out on the site itself, that God would remember His Mercy…

Second, for the outpouring of His Holy Spirit in comfort and Compassion to His people…

Third, an outpouring of the Spirit of Wisdom and Revelation in the Knowledge of Him, that we may know His heart, His Love, and His Mercy, that His Light may shine in the midst of this catastrophe…

Fourth, that the Lord may strengthen the Bride of Christ in the Twin Cities, first in prayer, to stand in the gap and intercede, in compassion to weep with those who weep, and mourn with those who mourn, and most important to be4 strengthened with might the power of His Holy Spirit in their inner man to stand boldly in this hour and proclaim the truth of the Gospel of Jesus Christ in this hour. The whole Gospel, and not shrink back due to the spirit of religion or the fear of man. Pray that pastors this weekend will speak boldly, in compassion, in meekness, in the truth of Jesus Christ, that the Word of the Lord may run forth swiftly and be glorified.
